Aviation report 1950/01
The plane was chartered by European Aid to transport children from Tunis to Norway for a recreational stay. After a stopover in Brussels, the flight continued towards Fornebu. At 16:56 on 20 November, air traffic control in Oslo lost radio contact with the plane. A large-scale search operation was launched, but the wreckage was not found until the morning of 22 November. 34 people died in the accident, 27 of them children. An 11-year-old survived.
