Report on serious incident at Flatoy in Hordaland county, Norway 14 Dec 2014 - Airbus Helicopters AS 350 B3, LN-OWE

The helicopter was about to land on a construction site and was approximately 2 m above the ground at low speed when the tail rotor hit a stack of concrete blocks. The helicopter was still controllable, and landed a few meters ahead without further incident. Damage to tail rotor and lower vertical tail fin.
