Report on aviation accident near Bodø Airport, Norway on 24 June 1974 with Beechcraft V35A Bonanza, OH-BBD
Aviation report 1977/01
The aircraft was supposed to make a stopover at Bodø for refuelling before an onward flight to Værnes. There were six Finnish nationals on board, including the pilot. During the approach, the air traffic service lost radio contact with the aircraft. An extensive search and rescue operation was organised. It was formally ended after three days without any findings of either the aircraft, wreckage or any of those on board. The aircraft is believed to have crashed in the sea west or south-west of Bodø.

As a result of a lack of information, the commission has not been able to establish a probable cause why the accident occured.
