Investigation of avation incident at Flittig motor sport centre near Skien
On 28 August 2025, LN-ASY conducted an unannounced overflight of the runway at Flittig motor sport centre, in low-altitude. The runway was used in connection with the Jet World Masters 2025.There was a valid NOTAM for the large scale model aircraft activity.

Investigation of a collision between a tractor and a passenger train at an unsecured level crossing on the Gjøvikbanen Line
On Monday 25 August 2025, train 17401 from Vygruppen AS collided with a tractor at the Gamme level crossing on the Gjøvikbanen Line. The tractor driver was killed in the accident.

Investigation of foundering of a fishing vessel in the Varangerfjord
The NSIA has decided to investigate the accident involving the fishing vessel Amalie Sofie LG4901.
On 5 August 2025, the fishing vessel was out trawling for shrimps when the it listed, capsized and subsequently foundered.

Investigation of a serious avation incident during landing at Trondheim Airport
On 26 July 2025, Wideroe's flight WF1455 from Oslo (ENGM) to Trondheim (ENVA) had problems deploying the landing gear, and had to declare an emergency. The problem was resolved and the aircraft landed without further problems.

Investigation of aviation accident at Oppdal Airfield
On 13 July 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM, a Danish-registered aircraft, OY-PTR, ran off the runway during landing at Oppdal Airfield (ENOP).
None of the four people on board were injured.
The aircraft sustained structural damages to be classified as an aviation accident.

Investigation of an accident with a light terrain vehicle (ATV) in Hengsvann shooting and training range in Notodden municipality
The NSIA has initiated a safety investigation into an accident with a light terrain vehicle that occurred at the Hengsvann shooting and training range on 20 May 2025. One person died in the accident.
