Report on aviation accident near Langevatnet in Bjerkreim, Norway, 23 October 1977 with Piper Cherokee PA-28-151, LN-BGU

On 23 October 1977, LN-BGU took off from Sola with four people on board. The pilot had reported that they were going to fly to Lista, and then back to Sola. After about 30 minutes, Sola control tower attempted to establish radio contact with the aircraft, but received no response. The aircraft was found two days after takeoff, crashed, and all on board were found deceased. It is presumed that the crash occurred within 25 to 30 minutes after takeoff.
