LN-GPI an amateur built motor glider was on an approach without use of engine. On downwind the aircraft entered an area with downdrafts. When the aircraft turned into short final, the aircraft entered conditions with wind shear and the pilot in command did not succeed to level off the wings before left wing touched the ground and the left main gear collapsed. None of the two onboard were injured, but the aircraft was damaged. No safety recommendation is issued in connection with this investigation. This report is in Norwegian only.
