Investigation of aviation accident at Vannoya, Troms county, Norway
On Tuesday 6 August 2024, a small aircraft, Vans RV-14, SP-YBI, crashed after landing on a private, graveled airstrip on Vannoya, an island northeast of Tromso.
The commander lost control during rollout. The aircraft veered off the runway on the left side. The aircraft hit a ditch, flipped forward and ended up upside down. The commander and the passenger were slightly injured. The aircraft sustained damages.
