Investigation into a serious incident at Torp Sandefjord Airport
On Thursday 15 May 2025, the propellers of a Piper Seneca II, PA-34-200T, LN-KPL, hit the runway during a landing attempt with the landing gear retracted.
In the afternoon of Thursday 15 May 2025, a training flight was conducted from Torp Sandefjord airport, which was concluded with touch and go's. A landing attempt was performed with the landing gear retracted, and the propellers hit the runway. The pilot immediately aborted the landing attempt, performed a go-around and a short circuit to land at Torp.
